Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ORDER.

Sizing. The customer agrees to the size ordered which is specified on the order submitted. The size is chosen based on the customer’s measurements and the designer’s size chart. Size is determined by the largest measurement. We are not responsible for size variation issues or for measurement changes due to pregnancy, growth, weight loss or gain etc.PLEASE NOTE: If you are taller than 5’8”or over in heels, you may need extra length OR if your measurements suggest a size larger than an 16, additional charges will apply and it varies with each designer. Orders are placed based on the information given so it is imperative that the information be true and accurate. Orders will be placed when all members of the party have submitted their information. We will also accept this information in writing via fax, email and US mail, no orders will be taken over the phone. Bridesmaid dresses and special occasion gowns are not custom made and alterations will be required to insure a perfect fit. Maiden Voyage Bridal does offer full service alteration department by appointments 4 to 6 week before the wedding.

Payment. Maiden Voyage Bridal accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover for payment. Upon placing your order, you have an option to charge 50% deposit or pay in full. If there is a remaining balance it will be charged to the same card when the completed order arrives at Maiden Voyage Bridal. If a bridesmaid would like to use another form of payment for the balance, please make proper arrangements with Maiden Voyage Bridal within 4 weeks of placing your order. Due to the special order nature of the bridal industry, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Notifications, Shipping and Delivery. Delivery time is dictated by the designer and can vary. We will monitor the progress of your order and notify you of any unusual delays. Normal delivery time frames for bridesmaid gowns is 3 to 4 months. When your gown arrives, we will inspect it and call the bride. The final balance will be charged to your card on file when the gown arrives in the store. Bridesmaids have the option of picking their gown up at our store or having their gown shipped to them via Ground service for a fee of $18. No dresses will be shipped 14 days prior to the wedding date. We are required to collect sales tax on all merchandise picked up at the store or delivered within the state of Missouri. Maiden Voyage Bridal will provide storage for gowns. However, if there is open balance within 30 days after the notice, the dress will be forfeited. Maiden Voyage Bridal will be subject to disposal of the dress at our sole discretion. No re-imbursements are made on unclaimed merchandise.

If an event is postponed or cancelled, the balance due is legally your responsibility. If you have any questions regarding the ordering process, our policies or sizing please do not hesitate to contact us.
